Meg Rivers

Meg Rivers' interest in baking was sparked at an early age in the family owned teashop. In later life she continued to bake, particularly for her children, only with all natural ingredients. Friends and neighbours began asking Meg if she could bake cakes for them.

As word spread about her marvellous cakes, her hobby developed into a business. She soon outgrew her home kitchen and opened a bakery in picturesque Warwickshire village, Middle Tysoe. In 2001 the business was transferred to family friend and Meg's former colleague Julian Day, who continues to bake using Meg's original recipes.
